“We have had a very stressful year as my husband had to start a new job in Calgary, AB. The children and myself had to stay in Victoria until the start of the school year. A total of 5 months… We started with one real estate company with no success. We even waited 2 weeks to have subjects removed and found out the buyers were not pre-approved. What a waste of time. We decided we needed to change agents so we could say it must have been the company not the house. I do not want to mention names but a low percentage company may not be the best route. Laura has built trusted relationships with quality people, from home inspectors, perimeter drain inspectors electrical inspectors to lawyers. Oh! And lets not forget “buried oil tank detectives” :). When it comes to her clients’ interests, she leaves no stone unturned and will work hard to make sure they get what is best for them. I can personally attest to this, as she has talked me out of buying a place that was not right for me, even when I thought it was and she would have made a sales commission. I ended up not buying the place, and when I was ready a few years later, I chose her as my realtor.
